Kia ora koutou e te whānau,
What an amazing day our March Madness Fair was on Saturday. The weather played its part and the crowds turned up. Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to make this such a wonderful community event. The annual fair is such a multi-layered event and while it brings in much needed fundraising it also brings the community together sharing food, games, entertainment and lots of laughs. The happy buzz, laughter and chat in the air on the day helps make all the hard work planning and preparing worthwhile. Special thanks to Mike Smith who led his hardworking team of co-ordinators to pull together a hugely successful day. The financial team are still working away finialisng the income/outgoings and we will have a total for you asap but we can say we raised approximately $24,000 on the day.

This Sunday is our first Parish/School Mass for the year. All children are expected to attend in full school uniform. Please join us for morning tea (please bring a plate to share) and a sausage sizzle after Mass.
We will hold our Easter liturgy on Friday, 11th April at 10a.m. in the school grounds. All of the children are involved in retelling the Easter Story and more details of what is required will come from your child's teacher. We will have our traditional Hot Cross Bun Morning Tea after the Liturgy and you are all very welcome to stay and have a cuppa and a bun with us.
Kia pai tō rā whakatā - Have a great weekend.

Gospel Reflection - Sunday, 30th March, 2025
A very warm welcome to Leo Tansey, brother of Mia in Rom 4 and son of Kieran and Moé. Leo is joining the students in Room 1 and we wish him many happy years as part of our St. T's community.
Due to the taking of our school photos, there will be NO Assembly tomorrow, Friday 28th March.
The Celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism
We offer our love and support to Indie Prinz and Mya and Maddie Phillipps who were baptised last week. Please keep them and their families in your prayers as they continue on their faith journey.
School Photographs - TOMORROW!
Photographs are taken of ALL STUDENTS, regardless of whether parents decide to order them or not and there is no obligation to do so. A notice regarding having a family/sibling photograph taken on the day will have been sent home with your child. If you would like to have a sibling photograph taken but you haven't completed the form, please go directly to the Hall and speak to the photographers.

VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT ABSENCE NOTIFICATIONS
For all absences, lateness or medical appointments:
You MUST email the Office, leave a message on the answerphone or use the HERO app.
If the absence is longer than 3 days, this includes holidays during the school term, notification MUST be in writing to the Office as well as to Donna and your child's classroom teacher.
Pizza Fridays - Term 1, 2025 - Up and Running!
For Term 1: There will be a total of 7 Fridays that pizza will be available for you to order for - that is for every Friday of the term until we break up.
To order pizza and/or ice blocks for your child, please follow ONE of the two processes below:
1. ORDERS FOR THE TERM: Pizza will be available for 7 WEEKS this term. So if ordering for the term, just multiply by 7. If you decide part way through the term, then calculate how many Fridays are left. Send an email to the team, outlining the following information for each child you are ordering for BUT in one email is fine.
Child’s Name:
Room No.:
Number of pizza slices - please specify if gluten free
Number of ice blocks
Cost: $1.50 per pizza slice and $1 per ice block
Multiply the order total by the number of Fridays.
2. WEEKLY ORDERS: These need to be sent to the same email address, with the same order details as in Option 1 and also paid into the same bank account number.
VERY IMPORTANT: The deadline for weekly orders is at 3p.m. on a Thursday. Unfortunately, no late orders can be accepted.
If you would like to pay in advance for a set number of weeks but not all the weeks in this particular term, please feel free to email these details to the team.
If your child is new to our school and only starts part way through the term, simply adjust the number of weeks for the remainder of the term.
kaiorders@stp.school.nz
